The Collings Foundation and the Hagerstown Aviation Museum are excited to join forces and present this rare opportunity to see up close the historic Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress, Consolidated B-24J Liberator, North American P-51C Mustang along with the museum's Fairchild C-82 Packet, C-119 Flying Boxcar, PT-19's & PT-26.
1943 Fairchild PT-19 donated to the Hagerstown Aviation Museum by Bob Haas of Ft Myers, Florida lands in Hagerstown. TR Proven flew the PT-19 from Florida to Hagerstown.

Hagerstown Aviation Museum’s C-119 Flying Boxcar Homecoming DVD
This commemorative DVD highlights the C-119’s donation by Bob Stanford in 2006, the extensive inspection and repair required to make the Flying Boxcar ready for its flight, ride along with the crew and the emotional Hagerstown Homecoming on November 16th, 2008. See the excitement of the long journey home with over 100 minutes of video footage and still images provided by over 20 volunteer videographers and photographers. This historic flight was only possible by the generous contributions of over 450 individuals throughout the Hagerstown community and beyond.

C-119 Flying Boxcar Lands In Hagerstown!! After a five day journey from Greybull, Wyoming to Hagerstown, Maryland the crew lands the C-119 for the last time on Sunday November 16, 2008. More to come....Thank you to all who made this great day happen!!
